You can embed this functionality to create intuitive data experiences, enable complex analysis via natural language, and even orchestrate conversational analytics agents. | New Queries and Visualizations Arrive for Looker and MCP Toolbox The release of MCP Toolbox integration with Looker was released in July, bringing the ability for an MCP enabled agent such as Gemini-CLI, Claude Desktop, Cursor, etc. to query Looker and act on data driven insights. Follow-on releases have included a "query URL" to empower agents to create a query in Looker and pass back a URL to that query, as well as a set of tools to allow the agent to build visualizations in Looker, create saved Looks, and create Looker Dashboards. | The Looker Excel Connector is now generally available The Looker-Excel Connector lets you export queries from a Looker Explore to a format that Microsoft Excel recognizes.
