Looker Connector for Looker Studio Now Generally Available
We are making our Looker connector to Looker Studio generally available, bringing together both self-serve and governed BI, and enabling you to access your Looker modeled data in your preferred environment. Once you've connected Looker Studio to your Looker instance, you can start analyzing your modeled data.
Identify Looker Studio Queries with BigQuery Job Labels
All queries sent by Looker Studio to BigQuery have the BigQuery job label requestor:looker_studio. You can use this job label to identify BigQuery queries related to Looker Studio.
Searching for a field in the data panel now only searches the currently selected component's data source. When no components are selected, search looks for fields in any data source that is added to the report.

Connected Sheets for Looker Now Generally Available
Modern organizations make decisions and act based on trusted data. But to fully empower their users, it isn't enough to simply make trusted data available. Organizations need to enable users to access that data through tools they use every day. We are announcing general availability of Connected Sheets for Looker, allowing you to access centrally defined metrics and data relationships from Looker's semantic layer through the familiar Google Sheets interface.
We are bringing Looker Alerts to our iOS mobile app, in general availability, extending the reach of these critical notifications beyond our existing options, which includes alerts by web, Slack and email. Looker alerts are fully integrated with our iOS mobile app, connecting users to associated visualizations and charts, and alert history.
